Each yarn is unique.

We dye our yarns in small batches, which is why it can happen that there are sometimes major color differences. To avoid this, we have come up with a special system. Our product images are updated regularly. This means that in the images you see exactly the yarns that are currently in stock or at least yarns that come from the same batch. For this reason, yarns are only re-dyed when the color is already sold out. If you need a larger quantity than is in stock, you can contact us at any time.

Each of our yarns is dyed with professional acid dyes and then treated with nourishing lanolin solutions in a complex process. However, some colors may bleed slightly. Strong or dark colors are particularly prone to this. We therefore recommend not washing the finished work too often and not combining strong or dark colors with particularly light colors. Otherwise, the lighter yarn may absorb the bleeding color over time. Since some colors are a little more intense, the same yarn often feels a little different with different colors. This is more common with dark and strong colors, such as black or dark blue. The quality of the wool should not be affected by this. If it does, please contact us using the contact form.

Furthermore, the colors may differ slightly from those shown here. This is partly due to the monitor settings and partly because each yarn is hand-dyed and therefore has an individual color. Even the yarns from the same batches differ from one another. However, I try very hard to dye the yarns as identically as possible. We only use high-quality yarns and materials. However, it can happen that the yarn has a small knot or a loose spot due to various manufacturing processes. However, these small spots should not affect the quality. We therefore ask for your understanding.

Since our yarns are mainly made from animal fibers , there are a few care instructions to follow. This is the only way to ensure that you can enjoy your finished project for as long as possible.

We use two categories of yarns: yarns with a so-called superwash finish and yarns that do not contain this (non-superwash) .

Wash:

Since wool fibers have a very good self-cleaning function, washing them constantly is not necessary. Simply hanging the item out in the fresh air is sufficient.

However, if that is no longer enough, you can also wash it properly.

We generally recommend hand washing with a mild wool detergent and lukewarm to cold water. If a yarn bleeds a little more, it can be washed with ice-cold water. This will prevent the bleeding somewhat.

Yarns with a superwash finish can also be machine washed at up to 30 degrees on a gentle cycle. However, to achieve the highest possible durability, we still recommend hand washing.

Be sure to avoid friction and squeeze your work carefully (do not wring).

Dry:

Wool fibers are very sensitive when wet and should be laid flat on a flat surface to dry. Never hang them up!

In addition, they should never be placed in the dryer or come into contact with other heat sources.

Please note that shipping is done with the last item. This means that if you have items in your order that require a longer delivery time, you will not receive your order until the items with the longest delivery time are ready to ship.

You can return your package or individual products within 14 days of receipt. The buyer bears the return shipping costs.
